Shortly after our arrival for our third visit to Bangkok, a fire broke out in a condo directly above ours.
This was in the unit directly above our Airbnb rental. We heard crashing sounds in the apartment above, and a few minutes later, smoke appeared on our balcony and in our unit.
We heard a commotion above and started to smell smoke, and we also saw smoke outside on our balcony.
We looked down the hallway, which was filling with smoke. We grabbed a few important items (passports, credit cards, computers, etc.) and evacuated. Because no alarms sounded, we banged on doors along the way, attempting to alert others.
