We visit Montpellier without a plan…. Bad idea!
We quickly learn that we should have checked a calendar to see what may or may not be happening in Montpellier on the day of our visit. It turned out to be some silly catholic holiday that we’ve never heard of that actually shut down half the city. We make the most of it and take in some sights sans huge crowds when turned out to be kind of pleasant.
Next up: We visit Nice, France before we exit the Schengen zone.
